let’s turn our good intentions into supportive actions
When we're kids, we hear over + over again that we need to share, love each other, think about how to make friends and build communities, and be kind. When we “grow up”, so much of that goes away - we’re basically told to get what we can from everyone else through mostly transactional relationships. But you’ve had enough.
You’ve decided you want to opt-out of hustle culture + “rugged individualism.”
So, what’s next?
It’s not “easy” to live into our values. But there’s good news - it’s not about adding something else to our plate.
It’s about completely reframing all of our perspectives, decisions and actions. If you were doing 15 things before, you’re still only doing 15 things after “opting out”. It’s about being more intentional with the 15 things and how you do them.
It takes time, it takes work, it takes community. If you really want to opt out, part of that is realizing you cannot “rugged individualism” changing yourself and the world around you. That’s where I come in.
My mission is to support and encourage adults, especially fellow White women, who are embracing connection, care, community + context.
I’m so glad you found me so we can work together to create a world where everyone gets to live their best life, in the way we each define that.
